The British blonde has decided to leave Bscene -- the Agency and this week promptly signed up with the larger company in a surprise move.
And as proof of what a fast mover she is, some stunning new pictures of the Bath-born model are already up on the Dublin agency's website.
Her old agency boss Sean Montague has expressed his surprise at her decision to part ways with them, but wished her all the best.
"I had a missed call from her. I was in a meeting at the time and couldn't talk but in the meantime, she had sent me an email about it. When I called her to ask what was going on, she said that she wanted more work and was looking to do more press calls and things like that," he explained.
"She said that she had agonised over the decision but her mind was made up. I don't understand why she didn't come and discuss it with me and my partner Brendan beforehand, though.
"She's entitled to go wherever she wants but just out of courtesy, I feel like she could have had a proper meeting with us about it. At the same time, we wish her all the best," he added.
A virtual unknown here until being photographed on a cinema date with RTE chat-show host Ryan Tubridy, leggy Laura's ascent up the publicity ranks was stellar after being linked with the broadcaster late last year.
She is now dating the older brother of actress Leigh Arnold, businessman Nicky.
As well as signing up to Assets agency, she's also on the books of a British company and jetted off to London last month to take part in the spring/summer show for designer Alberta Feretti and will be shooting a campaign for Armani next week.
Speaking about her exciting new career path, Laura told the Herald: "I have enjoyed my time at Bscene -- the Agency and I'm now looking forward to working with Assets."
