Belieb me, insists Justin, it's my Ferrari's tinted windows that land me in trouble

TEEN superstar Justin Bieber – who is coming to Dublin later this month – says the tinted windows in his silver Ferrari is the reason he is frequently pulled over by police.

Appearing on US chat show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the 18-year-old says while it may look like he's a bad driver, nothing could be further from the truth.

"I don't do anything," he told host Jimmy Fallon. "I promise. It looks bad."

The Canadian said his blackout windows were to blame for his encounters with cops.

"You see pictures of me getting pulled over, but really the tints are really dark. I need dark tints because I don't want to cause accidents because people want to take pictures.

"I just thought it would be more safe for everyone else if I had dark tints. I'm thinking about other people."

Bieber went on to say that he was having fun being young.

"I'm having fun being 18 and enjoying my life and

being responsible." Earlier this year, Bieber's Ferrari made headlines when a paparazzo was knocked down and killed while trying to photograph the star in his car.

Hilarious

Bieber was not in the car at the time of the accident, one of his friends was driving the vehicle.

The following day Justin released a statement calling for more law changes to deal with paparazzi. But things were a lot lighter on the set at Jimmy Fallon's late night show.

The singer and the presenter got up to all sorts of hilarious antics during his appearance – Bieber payed basketball with a bowl of ramen noodles, kissed a mannequin and claimed Chuck Norris was his father.

The singer also treated the audience to a glimpse of his washboard abs. Supermodel Naomi Campbell was also a guest on the show and was delighted to meet Bieber – she posted a photo of the two of them hanging out backstage on Twitter.
