The 34-year-old star says she's loving being a mum and is no hurry to get back in front of the camera.
"I have a couple of bits in the pipeline, but I don't really want to tie myself down too much until the end of summer," she said.
"I've just had a baby and I want to enjoy it.
"Life is going to get busy enough and hectic enough in the future. So it's nice to just chill out and enjoy things at the moment."
While she's happy relaxing and taking care of her teeny tot, Amy says she is hopeful Comedy Central series Threesome will return later this year.
"I know everyone is gunning to go for it," she said. "But the two guys are filming The Paradise at the moment and we can't do it until they're free.
"I would love to go back, but it's just if everyone is free and available – so fingers crossed."
But before that, the new mum is counting the days until she heads Down Under with baby Sadie on a girly road trip.
"I'm going with Sadie and my cousin Noleen," she said.
"Not that Sadie will remember any of it.
"When she's older I'll have to remind her and say, 'I brought you to all the way to Australia. You're welcome'."
The actress will spend three weeks travelling around Oz while husband Brian O'Driscoll battles it out on the pitch with the Lions.
"We're going to do Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney," she said.
"I think we'll hire a car and drive around, but I'll see how I feel when we touch down. I might want to stay put after all the flying with a baby."
O'Driscoll and team-mates Sean O'Brien, Cian Healy, Jonny Sexton, Tommy Bowe and Rob Kearney flew out earlier this week.
The actress says she's unsure how much she'll get to see of her other half when she's in Oz.
"I know he'll want to see Sadie – probably more than he'll want to see me," she joked.
