Model scout Ellis will show her softer side as she comforts the Transition Year student when she tells her about her condition.
The Dublin teenager tells the steely model scout that she wears a wig to hide her hair loss.
Amber thought her modelling dreams were finished when she began losing her hair -- but tonight she will tell Ellis how her life has changed thanks to her progress in the RTE 2 series.
Amber is down to the final four -- thousands of young girls across Ireland auditioned for the programme.
"It's (The Model Agent) helped me so much because when I first started losing my hair, I was like that's like the end of my dream,
"I can't do it any more," Amber will tell viewers tonight.
She praises both Ellis and the girls' mentor supermodel Erin O'Connor for helping her regain her confidence.
"You've been so good about it," Amber said.
"I thought I wouldn't be able to be since you two are the best in the business and now I know that it's not really a big deal any more."
Sharon Touhey, from Offaly, Carrie Anne Burton, from Belfast and Laura Keohane, from Cork, are alongside Amber for the final.
Tonight's episode will see the aspiring models meet with legendary casting director Eddie Shanahan, who casts all four to model in an upcoming live fashion show in Leitrim.
Unbeknown to the four finalists, award-winning designer Ciaran Sweeney is also at the show, searching for a new face for his campaign which will be shot in Paris within three days of the fashion show.
Designs for Sweeney's new campaign are handmade and handpainted and available from the Ciaran Sweeney Studio in Newmarket Square in Dublin 8.
A delighted Sharon reveals she is shocked to have been chosen. "I was so nervous on the way to Paris," Sharon explained. "When I arrived at the airport I spotted the girl who plays Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movies, Evanna Lynch, and I got so excited.
"Then the crew told me Evanna was actually going to be on the shoot too. That's when I really freaked out!
"I got to pose with French supermodel Satya Oblette and Mr France but the models and crew were all so nice to me, it was an amazing experience," she added.
Upon her return, Sharon and her fellow finalists meet Ellis in Dublin for the elimination round to see which of the three girls will be packing their bags for New York.
Here, the final trio will take part in a photo-shoot for footwear designer Eileen Shields, whose work has featured in the Sex And The City movie, before meeting agents from the high profile NYC agency Trump Model Management.
The show is on RTE tonight at 10.25 pm.
