THE 'Ah here, leave it out' granny has landed a role in Jedward's Christmas panto.
Dublin woman Ann Grimes became an internet sensation thanks to her now famous catchphrase.
And it looks like she could steal the show when she delivers her line when fighting breaks out among characters in the Dublin Bus Christmas panto Jedward & The Magic Lamp. The panto kicks off tonight at the Olympia.
"I'm absolutely delighted to be appearing with Jedward. The twins are beautiful, lovely people," she told the Herald.
The 59-year-old great-grandmother became an overnight sensation on the internet when a video was uploaded showing her trying to stop a fight on the streets of Dublin.
Her repeated shouts of "Ah here, leave it out!" were then inserted into fight scenes in movies and television clips. YouTube clips featuring her voice have received more than 300,000 hits.
"I was delighted to be asked to be in the panto. It's not my first time on stage. I've acted in plays in local halls and clubs," she said.
She said she still has not got used to the fame of her internet appearances.
"It's ridiculous. I don't even have a computer so I don't use the internet. People still come up to me asking to be photographed with me."
