ADELE will make her live comeback at the Grammys later this month and said she can't wait to perform at the gala awards ceremony.

The singer is also due to perform at the Brit Awards a week later, three months after surgery to cure a voice-threatening condition.

The star told fans on Twitter: "I'm singing at the Grammys. It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait, speak soon xx."

She underwent an operation in the US in early November after being diagnosed with a vocal cord haemorrhage, which could have wrecked her singing voice forever and was forced to cancel a string of live shows. She is in the running for six awards at the Grammy Awards, in Los Angeles on February 12.
