Dairy farmers to mount milk price protest in Kilkenny
Thousands of dairy farmers are expected to converge in Kilkenny today for a protest over milk prices.
The demonstration is being arranged by the Irish Farmers Association, which has accused Glanbia of cutting prices to the same levels as 1983.
A similar protest was held in Dungarvan in Co Waterford last night.
The IFA says Glanbia is putting the future of 4,000 dairy farmers at risk.
